John is a Marine Corp Veteran and a family man! With his wife they share 6 children and 9 grandchildren. When he is not working, he can be found in his wood shop or enjoying the outdoors while fishing or camping. John affectionately shares a story from his young adult years when he received a clock as a gift and was somewhat disappointed because his younger siblings all received boomboxes. Until recent years he hadn't thought of the value of that clock until he realized he still had it and used it! This realization in combination with some extra time due to the Covid pandemic ignited a passion for imagining and building simple time pieces and has grown into the items you see in his shop today! He makes careful selection when choosing the various hard woods and all other materials he uses to create these works of art.
